For the Ph.D. programme, NBRC accepts applications from GATE qualified candidates (with 85 percentile or more in GATE 2018/2019) in Physics / Chemistry / Mathematics / Electrical Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering / Computer Science and Information Technology / Instrumentation Engineering


HOW TO APPLY


Step 1: Check if you fulfil minimum criteria for admission to the NBRC Ph.D. programme here
 
Step 2: Qualify the GATE examination in one of the subjects mentioned above.
 
Step 3: Apply to NBRC Ph.D. programme here before 31st March 2019
You will require your Roll No. for the GATE examination, which you received on applying for the GATE examination.
You will also require your GATE score to apply.
 
Step 4: Pay the required amount of fee as described here

Apply Offline (by post/courier)

NBRC prefers online applications. If you do not have internet access, you can apply offline.

Candidates who wish to apply by offline mode need to obtain application form from NBRC. In order to obtain the application form, send a self addressed A-4 size envelope to Registrar, National Brain Research Centre, Manesar-122052 Dist. Gurgaon (Haryana) indicating -

  • The programme to which they wish to apply.

  • The channel through which they wish to apply if they are applying for Ph.D programme.

The last date of receipt of requests for hard copy of the application form at NBRC is 1st March 2019.

Last date for filling (Online/Offline) application form at NBRC is 31st March 2019.
